Amos is the CEO of Ed Partners Africa (www.edpartnersafrica.com), an early-stage social enterprise that offers loans and advisory services to affordable private schools in Kenya in order to improve access to quality education. Amos is driven by passion to transform lives and livelihoods through education. He strongly believes that education is a powerful tool to alleviate poverty and transform generations.
Before joining Ed Partners Africa, he worked as the General Manager, Business Development at Faulu which is a leading and microfinance bank in Kenya from 2011 to 2017 where he was overseeing 44 branches and 38 satellite locations. Previously, he worked at Equity Bank and Family Bank in various roles at both branch and head office level. He has extensive experience in banking and microfinance cutting across business development, sales, product development, credit management and leadership.
Amos holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance (Moi University), Bachelor of Commerce degree (Kenyatta University), CPA(K) and COP-Insurance qualifications. He is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School (France), School of African Microfinance and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
